At St Michael's we run two Lunch Clubs that seek to serve the local community by providing a hearty affordable meal, a warm hall and a place for fellowship for those people in our community who might otherwise be alone
Sunday Community Lunches meet on the third Sunday of each month for a Sunday roast. Our resident head chef, Chris Dronfield, and a small army of wonderful helpers offer great food and a wonderful place for the community to come together on these special Sundays. For £6 we provide a lovely Sunday roast, dessert, tea or coffee and a warm a friendly place to come together. The Thursday Community Lunch started in September 1982 to provide a lunch and friendship for the over 65's. We provide a cooked meal & dessert currently for £4. The group meet on the 1st Thursday of each month (except January) between 12noon to 2pm. Anyone is welcome to come along an enjoy some good food and great company.
